Steve Hogan of Ethridge, TN, a devoted husband and father, passed away on August 28th, 2024, at the age of 69. Steve was a kind and loving soul known for his warm heart and compassionate spirit. He dedicated his career to ensuring the safety of others as a Fire Security Officer at Chrysler Corporation, where he was also a union steward.
Steve was predeceased by his parents, Cecil Hogan and Ina Hutcheson Hogan. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Elizabeth, who was his partner in everything, and his three children: Kasey Peshek, Connor Peshek, and Gray Hogan Slobig. Steve also leaves behind Gray’s husband, Ezekiel, who was a dear part of their family.
Steve will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering support for those he loved, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him. He touched many lives and will be missed by his friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Friday, August 30, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at Murray-Hogan Cemetery, which is located at the family residence, at 3:30 PM Friday, August 30, 2024. The family will host a meal serving Steve’s favorite food, pizza, at the family residence immediately following interment.
