Steve Benjamin King Steve Benjamin King, 57, employee of The Revere at Spring Hill Apartments and resident of Primm Springs, died Monday, January 9, 2023 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

 

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Wilson Jenkins and Buddy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Scott Family Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.

 

Born February 23, 1965 in Maury County, he was the son of Betty Jane Scott King and the late Bennie George King. He was a 1983 graduate of Santa Fe High School and served in the United States Army National Guard. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, jeep riding, collecting guns and Case knives. For several years he worked Arrow Exterminators. Mr. King enjoyed Kentucky basketball. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

 

In addition to his mother, Betty Jane King, survivors include his wife, whom he married September 21, 2019, Tammy Lynn Russell King of Primm Springs; children, Kevin King, Ashley King; grandchildren, Kingsley, Aspen, and Titan; siblings, Jennifer King, Tommy (Rhonda) King; nieces, Bailey Greksa, Gabriel King; nephew, Bailey Russell; great nephew, Judah Nechy; step-children, Connor Parsons, Paxton Riggins, Kelsie Riggins; and special aunt, Mary (Arnold) Hanes.

Active pallbearers will be Chad Hanes, Tim Russell, Keith Russell, Alex Russell, Connor Parsons, and Paxton Riggins. Honorary pallbearers include Tommy King, Kevin King, Freddie Jenkins, Bailey Russell, Jason Tomlin, former co-workers at Arrow Exterminators and The Revere at Spring Hill Apartments.

 

The family would like to express a special thanks to The Cardiac Unit Nursing Staff at Maury Regional Medical Center.
