Steve Alan Moffat, age 65, of Florence, died Saturday, September 29, 2012.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Steve served in the US Army in Vietnam and among other medals was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a truck driver for Green Bush (YellaWood). He was a conservative, non-judgemental guy who loved his family.
He is survived by his wife Linda Moffat; daughter Sandra Garvey of Florida; sons Christopher DeFrates of Colorado and Tom Garvey of California; five grandchildren.
