Stephen Ray Shannon, Jr., age 49, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. He was born November 25, 1974 in Lexington. He was a supervisor at B&B Sawmill. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Stephen Ray Shannon, Sr. and his brother, Scotty Ray Shannon. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Priscilla Shannon; his mother, Susan Brooks Hays (Ricky); three daughters, Brittany Flanagan (Ty), Ashley Marchbanks (Justin), and Candace Shannon; his sister, Stacy Lynn Tucker (Brandon); three grandchildren, Troy Flanagan, Jeter Flanagan, and Jude Marchbanks; and nieces and nephews, Sam Hart, Stephen Hart, Sean Hart, Chelsea Smith, and William Hodgin.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, October 6, 2024, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends on Friday, 6 – 8 PM, on Saturday, 10 AM – 8 PM, and on Sunday, 10 AM – 2 PM.
