Stephen Ralph Barron, age 66, of Steele, AL, went home to with the Lord on Friday, October 14, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Collier-Butler Chapel. Bro. Danny Battles will officiate. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Steele, AL. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Barron loved to hunt and fish. He was a family man and worked very hard throughout his life. He will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Verla Barron; wife, Marlene Barron; brother, Donnie Barron; and son, Blake Barron.
Stephen is survived by his special friend, Carol O’Barr; daughter, Tonya (Jim) Reaves; son, Scottie Moland; brother, Phillip (Amy) Barron; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and two nieces and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be Jim Reaves, Colby Barron, Trey Reaves, Kenneth Patton, Austin Cranford, and Jerry Gibson.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to Mary with Comfort Care Hospice.
The family will accept friends from 9:00AM until the hour of the service at the funeral home on Monday.
