Stephen Frazer Brannon, Jr., 76, of Union Grove passed away on February 6, 2024. He was born on June 27, 1947 in Montgomery to Stephen Frazer Brannon, Sr. and Lucy Jeffries Brannon. He graduated from Lanier High School and received a business degree from Troy University. He was of the Baptist faith, attending Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. After a long career in banking, he retired to enjoy time with his family and working in his yard. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Brannon, son, Stephen Brannon (Jess), granddaughter, Ellie Brannon, nieces Debbie (James) Phillips and Stephanie (Jack) Marks, great-niece Catherine Scates, great-nephew, Ryan Phillips, brothers and sisters-in-law Jerry and Carol Garrett, Rhonda and David Bagwell, and Amy and Alan Kesterson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Sandra Harris, brothers-in-law Kenny Harris and Roberto Puon and father and mother-in-law Dwain and Edna Garrett.
Funeral services for Mr. Brannon will be on Saturday, February 10that 11:00 a.m. at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with visitation at 10:00 a.m. Brother Clint Maze will be officiating. Pallbearers escorting Frazer to his final resting place at the Oleander Cemetery will be Garry Couch, Jeff Garrett, James Johnson, David Bagwell, Jerry Garrett, and Stephen Brannon.
