Stephen Earl Alford passed away on August 5th, 2012 in Florence, Alabama. He was born in Peoria, Illinois on March 13, 1949, the son of Earl and Pauline Alford. He lived most of his life in his beloved Portland, Oregon.
Steve had a kind and generous heart and a great sense of humor. He loved the Cubs, the Bears and golf.
He is survived by his sisters Diane Fisher her husband David, Susan Looney, Laura Chambers her husband Don and Stacey Dvorak and her husband Mike. Nieces, Emily Davis, Jennifer Rahn, Allison Fisher, Karin Fisher and Ariana Chambers. Nephews, Bailey and Braden Dvorak. Also his former wife Annalee Jager and his stepsons Dan and Jeff Grimes.
A memorial will be held in Portland at a later date.
