Stephanie Nicole Lankford- Bowdre, was born on January 12th, 1978, to Jerry W. Lankford and the Late Glenda Garner- Lankford in Huntsville, AL. She departed this life on July 16th, 2024.
Stephanie grew up in Limestone Co. attended Elkmont High School where she was a member of the Elkmont High School Marching band and played the saxophone and loved music. She was a loving stay-at-home mother to her three children. Stephanie was baptized at Central Church of Christ in Athens, AL.
Stephanie will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Glenda Faye Garner Lankford, her Grandparents, Mable Sales- Garner and Lethaniel Garner Sr., grandmother Sammie Mae Lankford, and the father of her children Charl Hakiem Bowdre.
Stephanie is survived by her three children Charleece Love Bowdre, Jadeyn Ianna Bowdre, Son Xavier Benjamin Bowdre, Father Jerry W. Lankford, Sister Stacey Abernathy (Chad Abernathy), Sister Whitney Lankford, Sister Kelly Madden (Kareem Madden), as well as her beloved Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Stephanie will be Sunday, July 21st, 2024, at 2:30pm at North Athens Church of Christ. Visitation will be Saturday, July 20th, from 5:00-6:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Adam, Demarcus, Daniel, Brad, Tyler, Kareem, Patrick, and Mark.
