Stephanie Michelle Anderson Kirby Watkins, 53, of Huntsville, passed away August 12, 2024.
Stephanie, a life long resident of Huntsville, was a survivor of the November 15, 1989 tornado that devastated Airport Road changing the lives of so many. She and the others that were in the bank sought shelter in the bank’s vault.
She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd R. Anderson, Jr.
She is survived by her mother, Judy Chumley Anderson, her loving husband, Buddy Watkins, her sons Josh (Amanda) Kirby, Jake (Rebecca) Kirby and stepson Paul-Michael Williams, her grandchildren Ezra Kirby and Kiara Kirby, her sister, Tiffany (Lee) Latham, sister-in-law Angela (Stanley) Hodges, nieces and nephews Taylor Latham, Will Latham, Nikki (Rie) Falleta and Braedon Hodges, fur baby Nick and numerous family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 15th, 2024 at 2:00pm at The Venue at Oak Place in Huntsville, Alabama. Her family asks that you wear something purple as it was Stephanie’s favorite color.
