Funeral service for Stellen Sargent Burks, 87, will be Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 3:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home
Mrs. Burks died on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born November 22, 1929, in Jefferson County to Albert Fore Sargent and Lucy Alberta Reed Sargent. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and friend. She was a member of Holy Church of Christ at Pine Grove. Mrs. Burks was preceded in death by her husband: James Hershel Burks, her parents, two brothers: Gene and Billy Sargent and a sister: Peggy Robinson.
