Stella V. Russell, 90, died Friday, January 8, 2016, at The Meadows. She was born October 14, 1925, in Itawamba County to Ezra and Glendolan Grissom Steele. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, flowers, and yard work. She loved her cat, Sparky.
Services will be at 11:00 a. m. Tuesday, January 12, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. David Haynes officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery.
Survivors include one brother, James Steele of Fulton; four sisters, Ruth Justice of Fulton, Jean Blankenship of Troy, Missouri, Anna Vogts of Hedgesville, WV, and Barbara Steele of Amory; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great- great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy B. Russell; two sisters, Clara Perry and Millie Blan; one brother, Glenn Steele; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Joe Blankenship, Jeff Rascher, Ceaser Herrera, and Steven Martinez.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 11, at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
