Stella Sue Norton, 79, of Tuscumbia, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 02, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Tony Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Blackground Cemetery.
Born on January 26, 1944 to the late Leonard and Bertha Agee Norton, Stella enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sister, Alice Chambers; brother, Willard (Dorothy) Norton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymond Norton and Franklin Norton; sisters, Doris Norton and Louise Paseur.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
The family extends special thanks to her CNA at Cottage of the Shoals, Gail for her wonderful care given to Stella.
