Stella Marie Thompson Inman, age 86 of Franklin, TN passed away November 6, 2024. She was a native of Williamson County, TN. Stella was retired from Apcom, Inc. after thirty years of service. She loved her family and friends with all of her heart.
She is preceded in death by grandparents, Robert and Fannie Thompson and Lester and Annie Pratt; parents, Charles Robert and Gladys Pratt Thompson; brother, James Maron Thompson; daughter, Cynthia Diane Inman and son in law, Arnold Johnson. Survived by: daughters, Gail (Ricky) Hazelwood, Marie Johnson and Donna (Brian) Ashmore; son, William “Billy” (Melba) Inman, Jr.; grandchildren, Ben Johnson, Tonya (Jody) Street, Allen (Angela) Hazelwood and Stacye Hazelwood; ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; special friends, Ginger Parnell, Wes Scallorn, Jane Hargrove and Charlotte Holt.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, November 11, 2024 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 PM-8:00 PM on Sunday and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ben Johnson, Chandler Johnson, Allen, Landon and Caden Hazelwood, Andy Midgett and Christian Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Ashmore and Ricky Hazelwood.
We would like to give a special thank you to Stella’s granddaughter, Tonya Street for caring for her the last few months of her life. Tonya spent a lot of time away from her family to love and care for our precious Mom and Grandma. We couldn’t have done it without Tonya’s help. The family would also like to thank the staff at NHC Transitional and Maury Regional Hospital for the exceptional care they provided and all the love they showed to our precious Mom and Grandma during the hardest times of her life. We will forever be grateful.
