Our precious momma transitioned to Heaven early Sunday morning (June 30, 2024) at her residence in Killen. She is finally reunited with daddy, Jackie, and Glen. We can only imagine the celebration they are having.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 3, 2024, 11 AM to 1 PM at First Baptist Church Center Star. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Bro. Ronny Jones officiating. Burial will be at Barnett Cemetery. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Jackson Jones, Sr; sons, Henry Jackson Jones, Jr. and William Glen Jones; granddaughter, Blair Jones; parents, Buford and Mary Richardson; brothers, Cletus, Royce, and Doyce Richardson; sisters, Louise Simpson and Helen Roach.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Tate (David) and Rebecca Jones; grandchildren, Jonathan and Matthew Tate, Lara Hannah, Hope Gooch, and William Glen Jones, Jr.; fifteen great-grandchildren; brother Robert Richardson; sister, Faye Perkins.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Tate, Matthew Tate, Jaxon Tate, Gerald Simpson, Eric Simpson, and Derrick Simpson.
