Stanley Leon Coker – Obituary

Funeral service for Stanley Leon Coker, 59, of West Point will be Friday, January 16, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Reverend Johnny Huey officiating. Visitation will be two hours before the service. Burial will be in Center Cemetery.

Mr. Coker died Monday, January 12, 2015, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born September 18, 1955, in Ringgold, Georgia, to Howard and Joyce Coker. He was retired from Chrysler Corporation where he worked as an electronics trouble shooter. Before he took ill, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, outdoor sports and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and making music. In early years, he was an active member of Enon Baptist Church where he ran the audio, drove the van and generally helped out as needed. He was a kind man and a loving husband and father.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Coker; daughter, Mandy Coker; and brother, Eddie Coker.

Pallbearers will be Martin Carraway, Jarred Coker, Chad Rhoades, Robert Rhoades and Sean Kelly.
