Stanley James Adams – Obituary

Stanley James Adams, 88, of Huntsville died Monday, May 18, 2015. Stan served in the British Navy during WWII as a radar operator on the aircraft carrier HMS Theseus. He retired from GTE Automatic Electric in 1981 and from SCI in 1992. He is survived by his wife Peggy Hall Adams; one brother Arthur (Betty) Adams of Fleet, Hampshire, England; two sons: Paul (Denise) Adams and Michael (Mari) Adams; two daughters: Theresa (Vince) Colbert and Cathy (Peter) Dwyer; stepson Mark (Sandy) Hosch; two step-daughters: Angela Hosch and Jennifer (Michael) Anlage; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Maple Hill Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with Berryhill Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 117-A Longwood Dr. SE, Huntsville AL or Hospice Family Care, 3304 Westmill Dr. SW, Huntsville AL.
