Stanley J. Matras Jr., of Ripley, TN passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Lauderdale Community Hospital. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 PM at Robert Sheehy and Sons Funeral Home in Orland Park, IL, with funeral services to be held 10 AM Wednesday. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Mr. Matras was the retired facilities manager of Komatsu, a United States Air Force Veteran, and a member of Ave Maria Catholic Church.
The beloved husband of 57 years to Kathleen Matras (nee Savicz), he is the loving father of Keith Matras (Kerri) and Kevin Matras (Mary); the cherished grandfather of Ryan, Jack, and Addy; the proud son of the late Stanley Sr. and Lottie (nee Krol) Matras; the dear brother of the late Marrianne (the late Joe) Barbeauld and Lori Matras; and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
