Stacy Odee Hamilton, 56, of Courtland, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital, Parkway Campus. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 02, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Scotty Letson officiating. Burial will be at Graham Cemetery at Harmony Hill Methodist Church.
Born on April 22, 1968 to O.D. and Sherry Owen Hamilton, Stacy graduated from Lexington High School in 1986 and worked at North American Lighting for several years.
Survivors include his daughter, Blair (Justin) Gray; grandchildren, Brenton Gray, Easton Gray, and Jayston Gray; mother, Sherry Hamilton; sister, Marsha (Robbie) Nicholson; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Stacy was preceded in death by his father, O.D. Hamilton.
Pallbearers will be Marty Hutto, Joseph Owen, Matt Hutto, Colby Hutto, Joey McKay, and Nicholas Owen.
The family extends special thanks to all of Stacy’s neighbors and the Courtland Rescue Squad for their love and care of Stacy.
