Stacy Ann Ferguson Edgil, 61, of Jasper, passed away on Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, at UAB Hospital.Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023, at 11 a.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Cam Stevens and Blake Prater will officiate.
Stacy was born in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1961 but was a longtime resident of Walker County. She graduated in 1980 from Oakman High School. She married the love of her life, Tim, in 1985 and they had one son, Alex. Stacy was known for her kindness and generosity as well as her musical abilities, serving as a church pianist for many years. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2000 with a bachelor of science and worked as a loan officer and vice president at First National Bank/ Synovus-Jasper until her retirement. She loved her family and friends and will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Shirley Ferguson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tim Edgil; son, Alexander Edgil; brother, Billy Ferguson Jr. (Twanna); and a host of other relatives and friends.
