Stacie Lee Champlin was a caring wife, mother, granny, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
She was born to Jerry Sullivan and the late Patricia Sullivan on June 25, 1971, and departed from this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 24, 2024.
Stacie graduated from Picayune Memorial High School on June 2, 1990. She met her husband when she was 22 years old, and they were joined in marriage on July 1, 2000.
They welcomed their first child, Skylar, on March 30, 1999, and their second son, Hunter, on October 3, 2003.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bruce Champlin, sons Skylar Champlin (Grace) and Hunter Champlin, and her grandson Trip Champlin. She is also survived by her father, Jerry Sullivan, sister Nicole Sullivan, nieces Destany Sullivan Reppel (Kevin) and Brandi Watson Fuller (Shane), nephews Dakota Sullivan (Katie) and Johnathan “John John” Patterson, mother in law Gail Champlin, sister in law Cary Patterson (Jimmy) and brother in law Tim Patterson (Yvonne) and the late Mitchell Watson, as well as an abundance of great-nieces and great-nephews whom she adored, along with many cherished friends and family.
Stacie loved spending time with her family, creating memories with all whom she cherished. Her cheerful attitude and bright smile will be dearly missed. Stacie was truly one of a kind and always looked for the best in everyone. If she loved you, there was no fault.
Words from her husband, Bruce Champlin: “I just feel so honored and blessed that God gave us such a beautiful body that held the most beautiful soul you will ever experience in your life. She is the most amazing woman.”
Words from her son, Hunter Champlin: “My momma, I just found my baby book. I’m so blessed with what you did for me. I will always remember and be thankful for you, momma. I was always a momma’s boy, and you knew it. Even though you thought you got on my nerves a lot, I secretly loved how much you cared for the little things in my life. I will always remember your love. Forever and ever, Amen. I love you more, momma. See you soon.”
Words from her son, Skylar Champlin: “Mama, you were the best mother I could ever ask for. You were so patient with me; you had the sweetest heart I have ever seen. Anything I wanted or needed, you would go out of your way to make sure I got it. You told me several times that I was your life. I believe that. I love you so much and will see you again.”
Visitation will be held at Hazel Green Funeral Home on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 12:00 pm, with services beginning at 2:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Steve with Flint River Baptist Church.
A reception to celebrate Stacie’s life is open to all family and friends immediately after the service at 4 Timbers Edge in Fayetteville, TN.
