this time-honored event. โThe Spirit of Freedom Celebration is one of the oldest running 4th of July community celebrations in the state of Alabama. We appreciate the hard work and years of dedication by Urban Radio Group and our business community in making this a free event for the citizens of our region forย more than three decades.โ
Other activities for the 32nd annual event include a petting zoo and a hot dog eating contest. The fireworks show begins at 9:00 p.m.ย Admission is free to the event, while food and drinks will be available for purchase from a variety of vendors. ย The Quad Cities Cab Company Trolley will be providing rides from various locations in the downtown Florence area for only $1.00 each way.
