FLORENCE-Able Works Students at Florence High School have been participating in a pilot project for Southwire’s 12 For Life Program this year.

These students are labeling the bags that wire is packed in for shipping. This assists with increased production at the plant while allowing students to gain valuable life skills and job skills that they can use in the future. Our students have been able to increase focus and attention to task as well as working together as a team to accomplish a goal.

As a reward for these accomplishments, Southwire along with Dr. Becky Odell (FCS Director of Special Education) provided lunch and cupcakes for the Able Works students class.
