Sonya was born October 2, 1961 in Madison County, AL, daughter of Murry Martin and Judy E. Davenport Martin. She has been an Arab resident since 1989 moving here from Huntsville, AL. She was of the Baptist faith. Sonya spent her leisure time crafting and selling on Ebay.
Family members left behind to cherish their memories of Sonya include: father, Murry Martin (Barbara), mother, Judy E. Hendrix; brother, Mark Martin (Stacy); sister, Kris Knytych; nephews, Eric Knytych (Rachel), Jeremy Knytych (Megan) and William Knytych; great nephew, Jaxon Knytych and great niece, Loxley Knytych.
The family has elected cremation with no formal services.
