Sonnie Ray Hood, 69, of Bear Creek, entered into rest Monday, March 9, 2015.
He was born on June 11, 1945 in Marion, County.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 1pm-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held 2pm. Brother Mickey Crane will officiate. Burial will follow in the Old Bethel Missionary Baptist Cemetery, in Wylie Branch Community.
Sonnie is survived by his wife of 29 years, Ovalee Hood; brother, Gary Wayne Hood and wife Debra and a sister, Wanda Fay Lawler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Euthel Orden and Eugie Pearl Hood and a brother in law, Douglas Lawler.
