LIMESTONE COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident on Thursday, March 9 that has taken the life of one person:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. Thursday, March 9, has claimed the life of an Elkmont man.
Matthew A. Reyer, 26, was fatally injured when the 2003 Honda Accord that he was driving left the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree. Reyer was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Easter Ferry Road near Maples Road, approximately five miles west of Elkmont, in Limestone County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
