LAUDERDALE COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident has occurred that has taken the life of a Florence man:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7 a.m. Friday, May 10, has claimed the life of a Florence man.
Jared G. Box, 39, was fatally injured when the 2020 GMC Yukon he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Box was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 133 near Lewis Bruce Lane, approximately one mile north of Florence, in Lauderdale County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
