COURTLAND-The Alabama Law enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Thursday, May 27 that has taken the life of one person:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:56 p.m. Thursday, May 27, has claimed the life of a Moulton man.
Douglas Anthony Couch, 55, was killed when he lost control of the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 he was driving in a curve, left the roadway and struck a tree. Couch was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred five miles north of Courtland on Lawrence County 418. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
