GADSDEN-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident near gadsden that has taken the life of one person:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:42 p.m. Sunday, July 28, has claimed the life of a Steele man.
Douglas C. Loveless, 35, was fatally injured when the 2014 Nissan Sentra he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree, and struck an embankment. Loveless was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Interstate 59 near the 194 mile marker, approximately five miles north of Gadsden, in Etowah County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
