Sinai Ojendiz, age 47, of Russellville, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.
Sinai was a wonderful wife, loving mom, and devoted grandmother. She loved working at IHP and made many friends at work. She was a strong but sweet woman, with a big heart of gold, and her family, friends, and coworkers were blessed by having her in their lives. She was a great cook and made the best tamales ever. Sinai enjoyed getting her nails polished, her hair done, but most importantly spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertolda Hernandez.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 22 years, Antonio Valdez; children, Hohanna Rodriguez (Jesus Blanco), Juan Miranda, Martha Willis (Hunter Willis), Nelly Valdez, Daimar Valdez, Dayaimi Valdez; grandchildren, Andres Rodriguez, Gabriel Blanco, Jesus Jr. Blanco, Roselie Willis, Brady Willis, Noah Blanco; father, Jose Ojendiz; siblings, Hermelinda Ramos, Herica Garcia, Cecilia Ojendiz, Josefino Ojendiz; several nieces & nephews; and a host of family and friends.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel. Prayer vigil will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a funeral mass following at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2023, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Vincent Bresowar presiding. The burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.
The pallbearers will be Juan Miranda, Hunter Willis, Mauricio Moha, Sebastian Flores, Antonio Valdez, Noel Ramos, Andres Rodriguez, and Jesus Blanco.
The family would like to thank the First Responders who did everything possible to help the family.
