Funeral service for Silveree Hardin Sterling, 87, will be Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Sport officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sterling died on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born April 1, 1936, in Lawrence County, to Ottis Warren Hardin and Lois Irene Gray Hardin.
She was employed as a production worker at G.E. until she retired to take care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Danville Church of Christ. Mrs. Sterling was known for being witty and never failed to make you laugh. She loved everyone, but not near as much as her dog, Scooter. She will be missed greatly missed by family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband: Guy W. Sterling, a daughter: Teresa Jackson, her parents, two brothers and five sisters.

Pallbearers will be Samuel Sterling, Chandler Hardin, Conner Hardin, Caden McDonald, Kevin Hardin, Austin Teague and Colton Davis.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Glenn Hardin, Guen Hardin, Liam McDonald and Andy Sasser.
