Sidney Bryce Shapiro, age 85 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Waldon Cemetery. Joe Perkins will officiate.
Mr. Shapiro was preceded in death by his Wife-Enzie Mae Shapiro; Daughter-Shelia Diane Pugh; Brother-Marvin Terry Shapiro; Parents-Sigmund and Ada Shapiro.
He is survived by his Daughter-Ada M. Shapiro; Sons-Terry Bryce Shapiro and Sigmund Shapiro; Grandchildren-Sandy Shapiro, Tabitha Johnson, Michael Kyle, Nick Shapiro, Alex Shapiro and Josh Sapiro; Great Grandchildren-Shelia Johnson, Kaitlyn Scroggins, Hina Kyle, Sidney Kyle, Jackson Shapiro and 2 others.
