Sibyl Agatha Mayes, age 95, of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. Leland Lowery will officiate.
Mrs. Mayes was preceded in death by her Father-Jewel Howell; Mother-Ida Castleberry Howell; Husband-Robert Lee Mayes; Sons-Lenorad Mayes and Robert Mayes; Daughters-Naomi Johnson and Patricia Langston; Grandsons-Dale Mayes, Mitchel Langston and Dewayne Mayes; Great Granddaughter-Gracie Dahlstrom; Great Grandson-Scott Cornelius; Brothers-Ken Howell, Cecil Howell and Harold Howell; Sisters-Joan Pyron, Joyce Pyron and Ionee Haney.
She is survived by his Daughter-Yolanda Hilley; Sons-Melvin Mayes and Irvin Mayes; Brother-James Bradford Howell; 17 Grandchildren; Host of Great Grandchildren; Host of Great-Great Grandchildren.
