Shriley Shipp, age 79 of Empire, passed away at a local hospital on September 24, 2024. She was born December 3, 1944, to the late J.T. and Nellie Mae Shaver. She was preceded in death by her husband Dwight Shipp and two sisters Linda Purcell and Pat White.
Shirley is survived by a brother Ray Shaver, two daughters, Patty (Danny) Doyle and Cindy (Tommy) Swann, son Tim (Jennifer) Shipp, along with nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00pm at New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
