Shooting In Florence; Police Seek information From Public

FLORENCE-At approximately 9:15 p.m. on June 3, 2024, Florence Police responded to the report of shots
fired in the area of Helton Drive and Hermitage Drive. Patrol Officers located a weapon and
spent rounds in the Southern Oaks Apartments parking lot. The victim, an 18-year-old male, was transported to North Alabama Medical Center, where he was treated and released with non-life- threatening injuries.
