THE SHOALS-Richard Laxson, Director of Shoals Youth Bassmasters, has announced the schedule for the club’s 2014 season. In addition, the organization was recently featured in an article published by B.A.S.S. Times. Shoals Youth Bassmasters is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, and largest B.A.S.S. Youth clubs in the country. The club has three age divisions for their competitions: 10 and under; 11 thru 15; and 16 thru 18. Anglers in each division must have a responsible adult advisor as a boat captain and/or fishing facilitator.

The club’s tournaments begin at 7:00 A.M. and weigh-in at 11:00 A.M. The year end picnic will be held after the last tournament. Youth must be a member prior to this tournament to participate in the end of season event.
