COLBERT COUNTY-Colbert County Tourism, in dynamic collaboration with the Alabama Music Hall of Fame, is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of the Shoals Holiday Concert for its second consecutive year. This festive event assembles a trio of renowned artists, promising an evening of exceptional music featuring Grammy-nominated artists Mark Narmore and Bobby Tomberlin, joined by Tess Frizell, a distinguished member of one of country music’s most legendary families.
Susann Hamlin, President of the Colbert County Tourism and Convention Bureau, expressed her excitement about the upcoming concert, saying, “We’re thrilled to bring this concert back again this year. Having our local musicians come out to entertain us adds so much joy to our Christmas holiday, especially during this festive season. Mark, Bobby, and Tess deliver a truly memorable show that resonates with our attendees, many of whom make it a cherished tradition, returning year after year.”
Mark Narmore exudes his enthusiasm for the event, declaring, “I love the Shoals, and I love this show! What an honor to have the chance to help spread the love, hope, peace, and joy of Christmas with some of our favorite friends from Colbert County Tourism and the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.”
This year’s Shoals Holiday Concert promises a musical evening instilled with the spirit of the season. Set inside the Alabama Music Hall of Fame, this intimate concert will take place on December 14 with doors opening at 6 pm and the concert beginning at 6:30 pm.
Bobby Tomberlin reflects on his deep connection to the Shoals area, saying, “The Shoals area is like a second home. I lived here for almost three years before moving to Nashville, and the music community welcomed me with open arms. It’s extra special to spend time here during the holiday season and be a part of the annual Christmas show, reconnecting with so many friends.”
