SHEFFIELD-The 13th Annual Shoals Earth Day Fest will be held on Saturday, April 4 between Third and Fourth streets from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 4, near Sheffield Public Library, from 11 AM until 5 PM and is for kids of ALL ages, free and open to the public.
Nancy Muse, Shoals Earth Month organizer said the theme for this years Earth Day Fest will be arts for the Earth. Earth Day will feature an exhibit by local artist Martha Marshall. The exhibit will be in the Sheffield Public Library and will feature Martha’s paintins of local birds.
Music will be provided by the Aaron Freeman Jazz R&B Trio, The Charlie Rose Trio, An Abstract Theory and Uncle Shuffelo & His Haint Hollow Hootenanny, a traditional American music group that has played the event several times.
This celebration will feature eco-friendly vendors and exhibits, all-day live music, 3 shows by Rockin’ Eco Hero, STEVE TRASH, KIDS activity tent, recycling drop-off, street dancing, drumming, Earth-friendly demonstrations, speakers and MUCH MORE!!!
