Mrs. Shirley Thomas, age 77, passed away late Monday in Nashville. She was born February 3, 1947 in Bath Springs to the late Charles and Daisy Brawley Webster. She was a retired factory worker, homemaker, and an excellent seamstress. A devoted Christian, she loved reading her Bible. She loved her family and especially enjoyed having them over for the holidays. She was a great cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. H. Gary Thomas and one grandchild, Eden Rhodes.
Survivors include her two daughters, Lisa Woods (Wes) and Valerie Broadway; two sisters, Reba Boroughs (Jimmy) and Lynda Reddix Latham (Russell); brother-in-law, Hank Thomas; ten grandchildren, Kaleb Broadway(Brittany), Lakelyn Wolverton, Rayanna Rhodes (Dustin), Chayson Broadway (Emma), Connor Broadway, Alonaa Broadway, Kensley Broadway, Slade Broadway, Rachel Hebert (Zac), and Brett Woods; and eight great grandchildren, Eliana, Aria, Knox, Mia, Cora, Aurora, Charlee, and Kennet.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Parsons City Cemetery.
