Shirley Petree, 76, died Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at her daughter’s residence in Belmont, MS. She was born in Alabama and was a homemaker.
There will be a private family service with Bro. Jerry George and Bro. Roger Wood officiating. Burial will be in Burnout Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by four children – Yuanna Seawright (Bruce), Tony Collum, Sonya Page (Randy) and Wendy Lynch (Brian); seven grandchildren – Harlee Henry (Matt), Adron Seawright, Seth Page, BreAnna Lynch, Lexi Collum, Brady Collum and Andon Collum; two great-grandchildren – Mattox Henry and Axton Osbirn (unborn); one brother – Jerry Gober; one sister – Charlene Oliver and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Collum, her second husband, Orville Petree and her parents, Charles and Ardie Dell Coats Gober.
Pallbearers will be Tim Oliver, Randy Page, Brian Lynch, Jeff Gober, Colby McGough and Matt Henry. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be Friday, July 3, 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
