Shirley Nance Maples, 75, of Gurley passed away Saturday. Shirley was a native of Gadsden, AL and a resident of Madison County for over 57 years. She was preceded in death by her husband: Albert H. Maples, Jr. Survivors include her children: Steve Maples, Randy and Bobbie Maples and Terry and Shelia Maples; her step-children: Ernie and Janice Maples and Debbie and Carlton Schrimsher; one brother: Doug and Maxine Nance; her grandchildren: Brian and Lindsey Maples, Craig Maples, Lisa and Jeremy Lowry, Stefany and Shannon McBride, Dallas Maples and Allison Maples; several step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren: Daxton Maples, Anna Lowry. Avery Lowery, Colby McBride and Korbyn McBride and a number of step-greatgrandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Ollie Taylor and Bro. Denny Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Gurley Cemetery.
