Shirley N. Looney, 75 of Athens, passed away on Friday, September 20th, 2024, at Limestone Health Facility. Ms. Looney was born on April 24th, 1949, in Athens, to Charles Henry Newton and Betty Jean Carr Newton.
Ms. Looney is survived by her brother Johnny Newton (Judy); sister Betty Joyce Self (Johnny); and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Jackie Newton and Jimmy Newton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to DaVita Dialysis or Limestone Health Facility.
