Funeral service for Shirley “Marie” (Hill) Kent, age 77, of Moulton, will be 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Standridge and Rev. Scott Delashaw officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Milligan-Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Kent, who died Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born February 5, 1946, in Alabama to Vonnie Hill and Ella Hitt Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Kent; son, Bobby Clark; daughter, Carol Radford; parents; two brothers, Curtis Hill and Clifton Hill; and one sister, Margie Hill.
She is survived by her son, Billy Clark (Shannon); daughter Cathy Millwood (Johnny); son-in-law, Keith Radford; five brothers, Stephen Ray Hill, Jimmy Hill, Clyde Hill, Jerry Hill, and Roger Hill; one sister, Marty Foster; nine grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
