Shirley Marie Hassell, 68, Tuscumbia, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. The funeral service is tentatively scheduled for Monday, January13, at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with JD Harrison officiating, weather permitting. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Patricia Sanzi; and nephew, Patrick Sanzi.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Rocky Albright (Andrea) and Joey Dyer (Jessica); brothers, Joseph Glenn Sanzi (Stephanie) and David John Sanzi (Laura); sister, Jeri Leslie Austin (Richard); grandchildren, Autumn Albright and Dillan Albright; nephews, Joshua Austin and Ricky Rikard; and nieces, Carly Austin, Christina Thorn, Patricia Johnson, and Bethany Sanzi.
Pallbearers will be Rocky Albright, Joshua Austin, Lee Thorn, Rudy Rivera, Ricardo Rivera, and Loopy Dleon. Steve Puckett will serve as honorary pallbearer.
The family expresses special thanks to Mallard Steel and Affinity Hospice.
