Shirley Mae Tidwell, age 89 of Jasper, Alabama went to her heavenly home December 13, 2024 surrounded by her beloved family.
She is preceded in death by her late husband- Tony P. Tidwell of Jasper. Mother and Father- Ada Guthrie and Tommy B Guthrie of Townley. Sister- Reba Tidwell of Townley. Brothers- Jimmy Guthrie of Townley and Tommy Edward Guthrie of Tuscaloosa, and grand daughter- April Stewart of Jasper.
She is survived by her children- Wanda Jorden (Jim), Randy and Greg Tidwell. Sister- Betty Downs (Jackie), brother in law Mack Tidwell. Granddaughters- Stacy Gray (David) and Jennifer Langley. Great grandchildren- Kaitlyn Langley (Marlon Oliver), Kaysen Langley (Montana), Treyvon Stewart and Malakhi Nimock. As well as two great-great grandchildren- Bennett Langley and Drake Oliver. Along with a host of other family & friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16 at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Visitation will include family at 9:30 and friends at 10. Service will start at 11. Dwight Forrester will be officiating. Burial will follow at Guthrie Cemetery in Townley.
