Mrs. Shirley Mae Malone Tackett, 74, died Monday, December 18, 2017 at her residence. She was born August 3, 1943 to George and Beatrice Malone. She grew up in the Fairview/Red Bay area and worked many years as a waitress. She was of the Baptist faith.
A celebration of life service will be at 2 PM, Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 in the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Danny Balint officiating. Private burial will follow in Gilvo Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12 noon to service time. Condolences to the family may be e-mailed to hollandfuneraldirectors@comcast.net.
Survivors include her two daughters, Pamela Sanders (Bruce) of Ridgeland and Tammy Stroud of Tupelo; 5 grandchildren, Justin Stroud, Melissa Atkins, Delilah Till, Lakyn Tackett, and Sebastian Tackett, and 1 great-grandchild, Coraline Bryce Atkins.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Chaney, Terry Lawrence, and Sebastian Tackett.
