Shirley Jean Murley, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, March 14, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL. She was a native of Medon, TN, she loved her church and her family, and she was a member of Deerfield Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Murley; two sons, James David Murley Jr., and Ronald Joseph Murley; her parents, John and Sallie Bell Maroney Clark.
She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Derby (Marvin) and Sharon Heard (Joel) of Lawrenceburg, TN; eleven grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A graveside service will be conducted at Highland Memorial Gardens at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2025, with Lee Shadrick officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, TN.
