Shirley Hovis Durham, 80, of Harvest, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. She was born on April 29, 1942, in Madison County, Alabama to Ernest Marvin Smith, Sr and Nannie Bell Robison.
Mrs. Durham is survived by her husband of 22 years, James Durham; son Bryant Hovis (Kelly); son-in-law David Spencer; and sister Dot Putman.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, her first husband George Franklin “June” Hovis, Jr, and her daughter, Brenda Hovis Spencer.
A visitation will be held for Mrs. Durham on Sunday, December 18, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home in Athens, Alabama.
A graveside service will be held at Huntsville Memory Gardens in Huntsville, Alabama at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 19,,2022 with Keith Hovis officiating.
