Shirley was the owner of Harris Machine & Welding for many years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, founding member of St. Andrew Memorial United Methodist Church and loved boating and being with her family.
Visitation will be 4:00 until 7:00 Thursday, March 28th, 2019, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Graveside Service will be Friday, March 29th, 2019, at 11:00am at Maplewood Cemetery with Brandon Bass officiating.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie G. and Katherine Abernathy Harris. Her husband W. C. Butler.
