Shirley Anne Puckett, age 80 of Huntland, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Winchester. She was born on April 24, 1944, to the late Charlie Otis Goodman and Mildred Inez Pickett. Shirley worked as a bookkeeper at Mendleson and Leons Dress Shop. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Puckett; and infant sister. Shirley is survived by her son, Kyle Carrick; daughter-in-law, Susan; grandchildren Blake, Grant, Arden, and Reid, all of Arlington, Texas; aunt, Carolyn Pickett; favorite cousin, Beverly “Sissy” Hawkersmith; best friends, Gloria and Bobby; and many other cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 11am-1pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 1pm on Thursday, October 24, 2024, in the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
