Shirley Ann Johnson, age 78 of Cottontown passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 at Skyline Medical Center. She was born October 18, 1945 in Nashville, TN to Herman Watson & Margaret Monelle Blair Thomas. She worked as a homemaker. She and her late husband enjoyed camping. She loved crafting and spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had attended Christ Covenant Fellowship in Portland, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald Everett Johnson; infant son, Joshua Thomas Johnson; 2 sisters, Dorothy and Jean. She is survived by her sons, Scott (Tina) Johnson, White House, TN and Adam (Carrie) Johnson, Cottontown, TN; 4 grandchildren, Kailey, Emily, Colleen and Lillie; 4 great-grandchildren, Fallon, Addison, Sloane and June. A Celebration of Life Gathering/Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 4-8PM at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House. A Graveside committal service will be held at a later date at Middle Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery. This obituary will be updated when those arrangement are finalized.
